The Vox Power VCCS300 power supply is a novelty in the field of ACDC power supplies due to two peculiar specifications: the silence with which it delivers 300 watts of continuous power because it is fanless as it can only be cooled by conduction and because it is made in a robust and compact package measuring only 10 x 5 x 4 cm. Clearly, even if the peculiarity is in its compactness and cooling by conduction, it is possible to cool it by convection or with forced air depending on the needs of the project.
The VCCS300 is the most advanced power solution for applications where reliability and robustness, high efficiency, low noise operation and BF medical safety rating are important factors, not to mention it has 5 year warranty.
Furthermore, the VCCS300 can be connected in current sharing with up to 3 units to obtain 600W and 900W of maximum power output respectively, occupying an area of only 4”x4” or 4”x6” respectively.
It is now also available with a wide choice of output voltage values: 12, 15, 24, 28, 36, 48 and 56VDC and can be trimmed and set to any other customer specified value in the range of 12 to 58VDC without need to make expensive safety approvals and customizations project which take long time developing phase.
The Vox Power VCCS300 meets the requirements of the latest industrial and medical safety regulations (BF classification) and is perfect for use in ventilators and laboratory equipment as well as in more traditional sectors – medical, IT and industrial. It is suitable for Class I or II equipment at altitudes up to 5,000 meters and has received various immunity and US military standard approvals – MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD 461F and MIL-STD 704F – making it perfect for Use in high vibration environments and other harsh conditions.
The VCCS300 offers power density greater than 23 W/in3 (1.4 W/cm³) with efficiency up to 95%.
